The Civil Society Institute for HIV and Health in West and Central Africa is governed by a Steering Committee and managed by a Secretariat.
A total of 11 members are appointed to the Steering Committee. The roles and responsibilities of the Steering Committee are to oversee the governance, strategic development and planning, and activities of the Institute.
The Constituent Assembly of the Institute is composed of all the CSOs that participated in the Somone WCA Regional Civil Society Meeting (from 19 different countries).
Under the authority and direction of the Steering Committee, the Secretariat manages the Institute, implements strategies and activities and monitors and evaluates the Institute's development and output.
